equipstats_1.0.5.zip  1-click install

Equip Stats is a simple quality-of-life mod that adds durability and temperature stats directly to the character equipment window,

making it easier to quickly check the condition and warmth of your equipped clothing and gear.

Features:

• Clothing durability display (percentage-based colors)
• Temperature bonus display
• Option to toggle values on/off by clicking the eye icon in the bottom-left corner
• Clean vanilla-style integration
• Lightweight and fully client-side
• Added Linux support (thanks to ShygalKacey for the feedback and testing)
• Multiplayer support (the mod works on servers even when installed only in the client-side mods folder - thanks to bringitonwimps for reporting the issue)

If you run into any issues or have suggestions for improvements you'd like to see added, feel free to leave a comment.
Hope you enjoy the mod, and happy playing 🙂

Armor does not display the correct % remaining from what I can see, not sure If it is just meteoric chain armor that does not. But you can see in my image here. It displays them all as 100% but as you can see they are all damaged and not 100%. Outside of that, everything seems to be functional.

This looks good! Out of curiosity, was AI used in the making of this mod?

@PrinceSora: This looks good! Out of curiosity, was AI used in the making of this mod?

Thank you!
Yes, I used AI during development, mainly as a tool to help with some coding questions and figuring things out when I got stuck.
For me, AI is more like a learning tool and a helper rather than something that creates the whole project.
I understand that AI use by creators is a pretty controversial topic these days, and sometimes it feels like people are ready to grab their pitchforks whem someone using it :D
Anyway, I'm not a professional programmer, making mods is just a hobby for me.

is it possible to display the warmth condition the clothes provide "currently" instead of the "max total" warmth that piece of clothing can provide?
for example here my pants are 1% and would provide no warmth at all, yet the stats on the side still say the max +2C

I get no stats, is there a setting or a mod file requiring something to be turned on?  Does it not work with servers?  I don't see any stats at all.

Thanks for pointing that out!
I added multiplayer support in the latest update (1.0.3), so the mod should now work on servers even when installed only in the client-side mods folder 🙂

Very nice idea of a mod, but it seems to be having some issues, based on the comments here already and my own in-game experience. Not sure why but while it does work, it doesn't seem to be working correctly for me. Screenshot below.

I think the issue is that the font scaling for your mod isn't working properly (Could be an issue with running the mod on Linux?) If you want any logs, please let me know.

@Kamulton: not working in my game ;c

Sorry to hear that 😰
If you'd be willing to send me your log files, feel free to add me on Discord: "thekremes", and I’ll take a look at it 🙂

Quick suggestions:

A diferent color gradient would be nice, they look a little bit too bright/neon compared to the base vanilla UI.
+ some diferent number Fonts too.

Still a good QOL mod.

The bright colors were added intentionally to make the stats easier to read, but I understand what you mean.
I’ll try to play around with it a bit more. Thanks for the suggestion!
