This mod makes use of the very wonderful config-lib mod - without, this would be only JSON patches that hard-code my preferred boat speeds.

From my testing, this mod still works, but only for the modded vessels. This is the only mod that works on the Jonas Boat afaik. It no longer affects the vanilla sailboat in 1.21.5
I recommend pairing this with another speed mod that works on the sailboat, and you'll be set.
I notice this doesn't seem to work on 1.21.5, I can change the speed in the config settings but after leaving and rejoining or shutting down and relaunching the game the changes still don't take effect. There is no other boat mods in my mods folder either that could be impacting it
The mod Jonas boat is updated for the newest version, will this mod be updated to work with 1.21.x?
Hey, I'm having an issue getting the settings to actually apply. I had changed the config before starting a server and it worked just fine, but I realized i set the sailboat speed wayy too high (1.5 in the config), so I changed it back to 1.2. but the change doesn't seem to be applying, even after restarting the server.
I just did a quick test where I set the sailboat speed to 20 and restarted the server, and its still moving like it did at 1.5. would appreciate any help with this issue.
and another test where I removed the mod from the server entirely and the 1.5 speed is still applied
EDIT: Completely disregard this. I'm dumb as hell and had the "Boat Speed" mod installed. For some reason.
Yea, Game usually needs to be restarted for config lib mods.
After adjusting the speed, does the game need to be restarted for changes to take effect? Doubled sailboat speed in config and no change.
