The fog is deep... no longer!

It probably doesn't! It's just all that I tested it on. I don't see why this wouldn't work on any version of the game, but I'm not confident enough to actually advertise that.

I'm not sure they do the same thing though? GoFogYourself may have the same LOD functionality but I personally don't want the rest of that stuff. This mod is exactly what I wanted, all it does is turn off the transitionary fog between loaded chunk and when VS Horizons LOD takes over and it works perfectly fine in my game. I noticed the fog was pretty jarring when I set my chunks below 512 for VS Horizons and this works great. I don't need full fog control and silent hill style timers, your mod is like a completely different toolset which is awesome if that's what you want. I just want the fog to go away for the LOD and the lack of features is the plus for me and he disclosed it was an AI mod so I don't really see the issue, I don't know if it's gloating so much as it's just like "hey this is a slop AI mod don't use it if you take offense/don't want to bug test AI code" but if it was, you fell for the bait.

Also I'm not sure I understand the bit where you say vibecoders came onto your page and say they can do better with ChatGPT? I checked your comments for FogYourself and he never commented and I didn't see any mention of AI there either. This all seems pretty personal and weird, I don't like AI slop as much as the next guy but this rant here makes you just look emotional instead of helping your cause.

Salem.I understand your grief. But bashing another modder for a mod they made, even with ai is not okay. If you're bothered. You can report the mod as ai so that depending on your settings, the mod can be hidden from you.

Hey man, I just got home from work and saw all your comments. Your mod looks cool as hell. It was never my intention to step on anyone's toes, and quite frankly, your mod does way more than I would ever intend mine to. This was only intended to solve the very specific problem that bothered me that nobody else seems to have created in the years that this game has existed, and frankly, only really meant for me and a few friends. I've also properly tagged the mod as AI now (didn't realize it was even in the list of tags when I first uploaded it - I was looking for a giant checkbox that said "This mod is AI slop"). Hopefully this doesn't discourage you to add similar functionality to your mod in the future. Have a great day.

Sorry for coming at you I am also dealing with heavy IRL stuff and lashed out I apologize its no excuse im sorry, did not mean to witch hunt :/ anyways if you would like and be interested since it is being implemented in my mod I can add you as a creditor to mine since well you beat me to the implementation of it? obs keep this mod up in case people just want this one feature and you did spend time on it, as well but I would be happy to add your name to mine for the implementation if interested in that as a sorry and a nod to your work, If not I understand I was a serious jerk.
