Craftable Jewelry - Version 1.0.4

Features:

  • Introduced the ability to craft 26 previously uncraftable jewelry items, bringing more progression and customization to your gameplay.

    • Notable craftables include: Royal Collar, Merchant Amulet, Brass Armlet, and many more.

  • Added 9 brand-new items used as components in jewelry crafting.

  • A new trait for Clockmakers and Tailors: "Jeweler"

  • Implemented smithing-based recipes for high-end pieces, requiring metalwork precision and resource investment.

  • Recipes are made to reflect the rarity of each piece. Some items are cheap whilst others are more expensive. Some items may even still be worth finding from a trader or panning!

Craftable Jewelry - UPDATE 1.0.42

FIXED

  • Required dependency to run the mod (Tailor's Delight)

NOTE:

All crafting recepies that requires items from Tailor's Delight will not be craftable unless you install it and will crash your game if trying to look at the handbook recipe. Mod will work standalone and you can continue crafting other jewelry without Tailor's Delight except for the handful that require items from it.

Vyklade The recent update for 1.21 was done by someone else as I haven't had the time. It seems there was an oversight in the modinfo.json still listing Tailors Delight as a dependency. Please check recent patch notes for 1.0.41 in releases for more info on current issues.

ChamomileTea This is probably due to the change in how the traits were added. Previously they were patched over The Working Classes in my mod which modified the base game as at the time I didn't know how to add it base game without TWC overwriting it. Now with the most recent update by Blehblehbleh made, it patches base game but still doesn't add it as a new trait per se in the way they expect which in turn throws the warning. It shouldn't affect gameplay though!

Hello, doing some playtesting for a modpack and found a warning messaged caused by this mod (tested it with just this mod, tailor's delight, and expanded matter). On your page they are not listed as dependencies but the mod info json still does.

[Warning] Instead of json patching in new traits into vanilla asset, add 'traits.json' into 'config' folder in your mod domain with new traits.

Removed this mod and did not have the warning with just tailor's delight and expanded matter. I am not sure yet if this impacts gameplay or not.

Vyklade, Dec 11th 2025 at 1:42 AM

@Crxss It still has tailorsdelight listed as a dependency.

DilanRona ChimMAG ryanberry New update does not require dependencies for anything anymore!

ChimMAG, Aug 9th 2025 at 3:52 AM

Yes, you need to specify the dependency on the required mod, as well as a link to that mod — it doesn't download automatically for me.

ryanberry, Jul 25th 2025 at 9:22 PM

No matter what I tried, with combinations of mods that were dependencies, I couldn't get the Jeweler trait to appear anywhere in the game or on classes while starting a new world. Also tried clearing cache several times. 1.20.12. Didn't try TWC however as I don't want that mod.

DilanRona, Jul 25th 2025 at 6:49 AM

You forgot to specify that Tailors delight is a dependancy. Also, when the game tried to download the dependancy, the download failed. Probably because I am still on the release of 1.20.8, and it tried to download the release canidate version for 1.21.

ryanberry Trait Acquirer is not necessarily needed for this mod. It comes automatically as a dependency from The Working Classes, which also isn't technically needed.

ryanberry, Jul 24th 2025 at 7:06 PM

Unless this dependency is a mistake - can you mention in the description that Trait Acquirer is required? Maybe explain what it does for this mod too.

Crxss , Jul 24th 2025 at 5:39 PM

ChimMAG New patch release should fix the issues. TWC was overwriting the traits after my mod loaded.

ChimMAG, Jul 24th 2025 at 6:04 AM

Have you removed the "jeweller" ability?
