Brings TFC-style skills to Vintage Story. Skills grow as you play and rank up from Novice to Adept, Expert and Master.

  Skills

  - Prospecting. The prospecting pick now probes on right click, TFC-style, and reports the nearest ore within a radius. Higher rank means fewer false negatives, and a Master also
sees the ore grade. Breaking blocks with the pick no longer probes.
  - Butchering. Skilled butchers get more loot from animals and harvest them faster.
  - Agriculture. Ripe crops yield bonus drops the more you harvest.
  - Smithing, split into general, tool, weapon and armor smithing. The smith's skill is written onto every forged item, giving it extra durability and, for weapons and tools,
extra damage. The item tooltip tells you why it is better than a plain one.

  Features

  - Skills tab in the vanilla character dialog with per-skill progress bars.
  - Chat commands to show, give, restore and back up skills.
  - Automatic skill backups outside the world save, so a world rollback does not wipe everyone's progress.
  - Optional mode that collapses all character classes into a single neutral class, so progression comes from skills alone (off by default, compatible with PlayerModelLib race and
    skin selection).
  - Everything is configurable in ModConfig/canplayerskills.json: growth rates, xp per action, stat bonuses, prospecting radius, backup interval and per-recipe smithing xp with
wildcards. The config is synced to clients on join and can be reloaded live.

I was thinking of another cool suggestion idea for a potential new mod could be a great companion mod, but what about tradittional RPG attributes that tie all the stats of VS and your RPG class mod into one unified attribute system (and possibility add your own stats too and maybe even elements)
