Fritz_Xray There you go my friend, please try that! I was not as careful as I should have been and so some of those values needed to be 8% total and were 7.5% and accepted, should not happen any more :)
Nah m8, thank you for the swift response. Keep up the good work. o7
Fritz_Xray Thank you again very much for reporting this. But I can't replicate your findings I'm afraid. Are you possibly running any other mods that may alter things related? What were the actual false calculations?

Here is the results of my tests on all the values you mentioned.
Maybe I should've worded it differently. I'm getting the exact same numbers as you in the screenshots.
It's just that you're not able to smelt it into black bronze at the proportions the calculator is giving. (tested with every mod but this one disabled)

Ahhhhhhh! I see it now, it's rounding errors!!! I will fix and repost in the very near future! Thanks for you dilligence in helping me fix this!!!
Some calculations for black bronze are off, when calculating for multiple ingots with max copper and minimum gold and silver. For example for 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, and so on.
Thank you! I'll look into it right away
Full language support finished
FYI, you should be able use the RecipeRegistrySystem to dynamically load the set of alloy recipes instead of the hardcoded list you have now, that way this mod is automtically compatible any mod that adds new recipe (or changes the vanilla recipes). If the project were on something like GitHub I'd be willing to try to put together a PR with that change.
Thank you ReaH424 I have saved it and I will add your translation to the next release! much appreciated :)
Hello, thank you for creating such a great mod. I’ve translated it into Korean. Please feel free to use it if you like it.
Deve KOPI_PING I have made the changes and I think this is what you wanted, so now there are 4 boxes that also tell you exactly what to put in each crucible slot. Please tell me if this is the solution you were hoping for :)
Brilliant! That works!
Nice! Yup, exactly what it is :)
Deve KOPI_PING I totally didn't get what the issue was, I apologize, I understand now! I never even realized there would be an issue because I normally have bigger stack sizes for everything, of course it would make things easier to have a stack breakdown, I will put this on my list and try and get it in soon :)
Probably the only alloy calculator mod available for 1.22 (afaik), I'll only be using this when I'm offline and there's no internet to look up on the web for an alloy calculator, a good example would be https://www.vintagestory.cz/slitiny/ which does very good in that it calculates the required bits/nuggets in stacks rather than a single combined value. Still a very convenient mod nontheless :)
Language supports are now in for 9 languages including Portugese for our friend Edderjh :)
Please feel free to request / volunteer translations for other languages. Over the next while we are working on a complete rebranding and full language support for all our releases so please check back soon!
Thank you very much for your attention, and congratulations on the excellent mod!
Edderjh Very good in fact, I am actually waiting on a kind soul who will be doing all the translations so hopefully they have it ready soon!
I noticed that you don’t use .json files to translate the mod. What are the chances of adding Portuguese support for it?
You know what would take even more guesswork out of ingot manufacturing? If it broke down the required nuggets by stacks. For example, say you're making 10 Tin Bronze ingots with the minimum amount of Tin instead of saying "Copper: 184 Tin: 16" it said "Copper: 128 Copper: 56 Tin: 16". Some of us are bad at math.
Bonus points if it can somehow dynamically look up the max stack size for nuggets just in case someone had a mod installed that changed the stack sizes.
Bless your face for saving us all an alt-tab! Simple, clean, wonderful. c:
TheRealFlynn Thanks for being awesome and making my day :)
my pleasure. i make mods. i know what it means when someone takes time to just say thanks, or drop a follow, Ive had a few gracious commenters on my stuff, and people trying to help improve the mods. very nice :)
ty for working on the mod
Szkieletor Give that a try! I always forget about the modinfo file and that caused your problems. Should be good now, please reply and let me know :)
It's working perfectly in multiplayer now, shows up in controls menu too! Thanks for the quick fix!
Critcher I'm having a similar issue, more info:
Installed the latest mod version, 1.0.3 from April 5th, via 1-click install. Game version 1.22.1 (but it behaved the exact same on 1.22.0).
The mod is installed and enabled, shows up on Mod Manager screen with a warning: "This mod requests game version 1.22.0-rc.5 but you are on 1.22.1. It might not load properly."
It does NOT show up in game keybinds settings.
There are no other mods that use the F9 button.
It works in Singleplayer. Does nothing in Multiplayer, regardless of OP privileges.
Tried reinstalling, doesn't change anything.
LDP487 What version of Vintage Story are you on? What version of calculator did you install? In your mods list in the game menu is calculator in the list and has a blue check that it's active and no warnings or errors? Finally in game, in the controls menu, is calculator in the list and if so is it marked in red and telling you another mod is also using F9? Let me know your results please.
I press F9, nothing happens. :(
LDP487 F9 :)
How to open it in the game? I don't see any hotkeys to use?
Madalovin Nope nothing changed, just updated to new version, cleaned a few things, but if you already have it installed you shouldn't need to update or anything. Old version is not broken, I'm just going through all my mods and spring cleaning since they're doing the update anyways :)
What did the 1.0.3 update do?
(1.0.2 seemed to work fine on VS 1.22+)
Also you can redact mod versions you've posted you deem broken by going to File -> Clicking on the Mod Version -> bottom right Retract Release. :p
Ready for 1.22, happy crafting!
Awesome! I'm happy it's working for you :)
forget the last comment
after downloading the latest version its all fine again
ty,good sir *bow*
Critcher
the ingame control settings? if so,it's not showing up
or i'm totaly dumb and blind
Added discord channel for bug reporting and back link to website
You can change this in the regular game controls config, it's adjustable there.
derp....suddenly F9 does nothing
don't know what other mod causes this
a config would be nice
ptrk That's a good idea, if I decide to go in a role play direction with my mods I will be sure to keep that in mind, thanks!
As a suggestion, if you're interested in making this something tied to an in-game item, you could make a little abbacus looking thing that a player could right click or carry around. In my head it's just a neat little idea to add near a forge for aesthetics and immersion.
@IILordTempestII , I'm sorry I'm really trying to understand where we are going with this. Are you suggesting just using the element symbols rather than the names? Like you would like to see the recipe for tin bronze say CU + SN rather than or in addition to the common names? Otherwise I'm not sure, things like bronze are an alloy, not a compound so there is no 'Bronze chemical formula' there would be many hundreds of different recipes that could formulate 'Bronze' and thus hundreds of different formulas.
Maybe let's try a different approach... If you were in game and using the calculator the way you would like to be, please explain what that would look like, what buttons would you press and what would you see on screen? What output do you see?
Critcher Perodic table. I tried to imply it but maybe didnt do the best job.
Like, Fe iron and Au gold. Combining stuff and adding numbers is for alloys or combinations such as the all too well known H2O for water.
IILordTempestII I'm very sorry but I'm not sure what you are requesting, could you please phrase the request differently for me?
If only there were some system to have elements and combinations of elements. Maybe some sort of table.
@TheRealFlynn Ah, yes you're totally right, totally didn't think about that on any of my mods, I will remedy with the next version and forward, thanks for the heads up
thank you for this!
Hi
Please consider adding a version number to your filename. Same fillename = utterly avoidable chaos
Critcher Actually it's really clear and comprehensible don't worry ahaha, with pleasure for the traduction, i'll send you with pleasure my traduction when it's done
@Maz Haha, that is so funny because the original version I tried to use icons for everything so there was no language barrier at all, but then I decided to go with the text labels everywhere. One day soon I will totally do that and I'll message you as soon as it's done. Thanks for doing translation services BTW, it's a really helpful thing for the whole community :)
Hey!
Just wanted to say thanks for the mod — really enjoying it so far!
I’m currently working on a French translation pack for Vintage Story mods, and I noticed that this one doesn’t use lang files yet.
Would you consider externalizing the text strings so they can be localized?
No pressure of course — just thought I’d ask 🙂
Cheers!
tymewizard Your wish is my command :) Pewter support added.
VaelophisNyx Haha, you win, I pulled out GIMP and the screenshots :) It does make all my mods blend in better with the rest on the site :)
Critcher nah genuinely most people dislike it at best. Lots of recent polls showing it around the web.
Just a screenshot of the mod UI would've sufficed tbh!
Is it possible to add modded ingots from like the Pewter Mod?
I saw other people starting to do it on other modding sites and I thought people liked it honestly. It's a lot better than I could do on my own that's for sure :) But I noticed around here people tend to use a lot more in game images so I might start doing that around here too.
but why the AI slop icon
Very nice. Thank you! :)
There you are, sorry this was part of a bigger mod package before and I've just broken it out into it's own mod.
Can you make it client side only?
Standalone version as requested
