Terms & Conditions
The mod is in great shape, with no errors or crash reports. It has been fully tested in both Singleplayer (SP) and Multiplayer (MP). However, I am not responsible for any incompatibility issues with other mods.

Author's Statement
Because I run themed servers and want my players to have a truly unique and immersive experience there.
Because there is no other easy way to distribute them to my players. If it were up to me, I would probably never publish them publicly.
I have spent hundreds of hours developing these mods and have never made a single penny from them (just saying). On the other hand, I personally support several other mod creators on Patreon to keep the community thriving.

Brass version could be neat ngl.

Alright, I've tested it extensively. Stirling Motors-one thing that should be noted about them... were incredibly efficient. Some could even equal efficiencies of 50-60%, much higher than a conventional steam engine. I like this a lot. But compared to the rate it uses fuel at, I think it's really underpowered... Especially compared to other steam engines out there. I think it should be more fuel-to-wattage efficient.
So! I have a suggestion.
Stirling Engines were never very... power dense, let's say. The fact that this one is pretty anemic is fully sensible. But I think that it should have a longer burn time- OR BETTER YET I think it should have a variant. Perhaps a double-wide, steel-and-gold-and-silver variant, for Silver's extreme thermoconductivity, gold for noncorrosive heat pipe coatings, and steel for high strength low-tolerance capability-which has a fully enclosed burn chamber. Rather than producing more energy, I think it should have a longer burn time. Like, 13x of the fuel's rated burn time. And maybe add an Iron+Copper (for copper's thermoconductivity) version with 5x the fuel burn time. If you think that's too extreme, toning it back's fine. I just love the idea of having more expensive versions be more efficent.
Now, there's one other thing that's pretty dang important to note-Being historically and SCIENTIFICALLY accurate, Watt Engines were revolutionary because of their EXTREMELY high efficiency for the time, about 6 times that of what the first steam engines were-or a whole THREE percent. Mind you, over the decades, it did increase further, by several percent, but still far short of what the Stirling Engine can be capable of.
For comparison, the Stirling Engine, though quite... weak, in terms of size-to-power ratio, is incredible efficient, when sipping tiny amounts of fuel. Well-constructed Stirling Engines can get FIFTY to even SIXTY percent energy reclaimation into rotation. Which, while I think the first stirling engine shouldn't be that great... I think that they should be going the opposite direction of other generators, which increase in efficiency by having HIGH THROUGHPUT for the cost of high maintenence (The Harp's Watt Engine needs water refilled every 20 real life minutes, and the Turbine Engine requires its' water refilled every FIVE MINUTES) and being watched constantly. In contrast of that, I think stirling engines should go in the direction of high-effiency. Frankly, cuz I love the look of pretty moving stuff. Also it thematically fits the world better, I think. I like the idea of powering my library build with spinning high-efficency stirling engines.
Best case scenerio, would be a Config file that lets people customize the values.
However, I got the following test results...
Using Rot (400 C as fuel) and attaching to electrical progressive systems. I've also noticed that they all burn fuel at the same rate, where something like Harp's Mechanical Revolution Watt Engine can burn it... significantly slower, actually. According to my tests, when I mean significantly, I mean a stack of fuel with 330s burntime in ANY of the other generators, which burn at the same rate-will last 1120 seconds.
I also tried it on walnuts, with their infamous 1s burntime. While all the other generators burned through them in one tick, Harp's burned through them in about 4 ticks.
Stirling Engine attached to High Efficiency Generator (single one) direct-drive, attached to a load (accumulators) that draws max of avaliable, 10 Kilonewton-meters, or 7w.
Harp's Mechanical Revolution attached to High Efficency Generator, produces a fluctuating output, averaging 38 watts.
Thermoelectric Generator, with a singular thermoelectric plate, has 26 watts output, and at max efficiency (10 plates), the one by it has 177 watts (these are also attached to many accumulators)

*fun fact, this is a real interaction, and the most energetic by weight of products, oxidation reaction that can occur in nature, even more than hydrogen-oxygen liquid fuel mixture, and that IS the temperature at which it maximizes at. It's also... extremely expensive and therefore is not used for consumable processees like that. I'm still working on the mod it comes from, but it should (and will) be equally insanely cost-intensive. I'm pretty sure the crafting recipie will cost Temporal Gears, after all the energy to go into playing pinball with the atoms to get Beryllium to give up its' atomic friends is going to be CONSIDERABLE.
