Does this require patches to be compatibile with mods that add other stone types?
It depends on how the mod in question adds their types to the game.
This mod patches blocktypes/stone/crackedrock for the cracked rock, blocktypes/stone/ore-ungraded.json and blocktypes/stone/rock.json for the flint drops. If the mods add their rocks to the same files (if done properly they really should be) the custom rocks will be supported.
I tested this with Material Needs Geology to be able to give you a more concrete example and can confirm that my mod works in combination with the MNG - so any other rock mod should do to.
Edit: If you come across an incompatibility please tell me so that I can have a look.
Davee Very cool idea indeed!
Brady_The Great tweaks! I'm playing with this mod together with my just-published mod Unstable cracked rock! :)
based 1.1.0 update ill actually use flint ore now
Update v.1.1.0
Added flint ore extraction buff
Changed mod ID and name
This is an entirely optional update. If you don't like the buff to the flint extraction you can safely stay on versions 1.0.0/1.
Update v.1.0.1
This update doesn't add or change any content. It's purely a backend adjustment which brings this mod up to my new standards.
This includes a change to the name of .zip-file, which is now following the schema: {modid}-{modversion}-{testedgameversion}, for easier support and better readability in the log files.
"Tested game version" does not imply that the mod is not going to function on a different version. It merely states the game version it was last verified on.
