Your Seraph now how has a Birthday! Use "/birthday me" to see your birthday!

Once a year, you get a gift from a configurable loot table and a message in chat. First gift requires: in game year > birth year.

Were you offline and missed bday? You'll get a belated gift the next time you log in :)

Admins can manage the gift table with in game commands or by editing the config directly. Modded items are supported.

Commands

Customizing the gift list is primarily done through the config file, but these commands let you make quick changes

/birthday me	Check your birthday
/birthday calendar <month>	See birthdays for specific month. Defaults to current month if no month input
/birthday list	Show the gift table (admin)
/birthday addhand	Add held item as a gift at uncommon rarity (admin)
/birthday add <code> <qty> <rarity>	Add a gift by item code (admin)
/birthday remove <code>	Remove a gift (admin)
/birthday change <player> <month/day>	Change player's birthday (admin) (month is numerical value e.g. 5/1 for May 1st)
/birthday calendar list	See all player's birthdays (admin)

Config

Gift table is at ModConfig/birthdays.json. Auto-generated on first run.

Modded items just use the full code like somemod:itemname.

Rarity

Each gift has a rarity that controls how often it shows up.

Works on new and existing worlds. Players joining after install get a birthday on first login.

Calendar reading is dynamic if you set longer/shorter months.

Multiplayer supported. Each player gets their own birthday and gift. Only the birthday player sees the message.

YOU ONLY GET A GIFT AFTER THE CURRENT IN GAME YEAR IS GREATER THAN YOUR BIRTH YEAR - THIS IS TO PREVENT A PLAYER RECEIVING AN OP PRESENT IN YEAR 0. IK THATS WEIRD BUT IDK MAYBE THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND BDAYS UNTIL THEY ARE OLDER. AND THE BDAYS NEED TO BE RANDOM ON JOIN OTHERWISE YOU WOULD ALL HAVE MAY 1ST AS A BDAY.
