A simple JSON mod that adds blocks that have the same texture as vanilla logs, but it remains unchanged after chiseling. This way you can add a bark texture of your choosing to a chiseled block of any size and shape.
Works right out of the box with any retexture mods since it uses vanilla assets. Opine Upon Pine and Majestic Maple used for demonstration (second screenshot).
The mod doesn't have its own creative tab (I think the menu is bloated enough), but you can find the blocks by typing "Woodtype Bark" in your handbook/creative menu.
May add compatibility with other mods if people want that.

Yes, they are craftable. You need 2 regular logs and a chisel. Should have clarified that in the description
