Should be resolved now, although locusts can no longer leap for the time being. I'll fix that for the next version. Let me know if you still have issues.

oldcake Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I opened a ticket (#6) to track this and will release an update once it's fixed.

In version 1.21.6, the animation of the locusts has been updated. However, these animations are incompatible with this mod, resulting in the locusts displayed in the mod not aligning with their actual positions. This makes it impossible for players to attack them. We hope for an update! Please help!

So, for the time being, I'll throw together a less involved shiver remodel and upload it in a new version here. Should be up sometime today.

Progress report: the shiver remodel is becoming more ambitious than anticipated (animations, sound design) so it'll be a separate mod.

Jokes aside, if anyone does find them to be too similar I can change the models. Also working on the shivers now.
