Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.22.0-pre.1 - 1.22.6, potentially outdated):
AnvilGuard_1.0.0.zip  1-click install

A mod made with claude to solve one simple problem I've had. Clicking too fast when putting material on the anvil resulting in the wrong recipe being locked in. This mod adds a confirm/cancel popup after clicking a smithing recipe. Maybe someone else will find it helpful.

I would love this for flint and clay. My right click sticks occassionally and I end up with a ton of flint knife blades and whatever the clayform is right where my mouse pointer ends up. Not a big deal to lose flint and clay, but this is a godsend for those hard to get metals.

edit...mod does not work unfortunately. No popup happens on Anvils.

Life nerfed me with the inability to code. The AI coded a mod which suited my needs. Feel free to continue looking for something just like this until someone who knows how to code it takes the time to make one.

It's just a single menu that pops up asking yes or no,.it would be a great opportunity to learn how to mod in VS and maybe even for other games too. life didnt nerf you,,.AI just has you brainwashed to the point you'd rather believe in a machine rather than beliving in yourself
