Recommended download (for Vintage Story 1.20.7, 1.20.8 - 1.20.10 and 1.20.11 - 1.20.12):
antlershorns1.2.1.zip
1-click install
Update 20/05/2025 ! I added scrollcharactercreation dependency (obligatory), and now the mod will be way more compatible with mods adding things to character creation menu. I tested it and normaly, your character will stay the same between version Apparently in server it will remove ears and antlers when changing version. I'm sorry :(
big thanks to Kathanon for making this possible with their mod !
Hi! This mod add antlers and horns from game's animals, at character creation ! For now there is 19 types of horns and antlers, and a none choice. They will clip with hats and helmets, so maybe use a mod that let you choose what clothes to show.
Fully compatible with my other mod, Goblins ears & friends !
Big thanks to Spoonail :p

you'll need to ask the author to change that, and/or explain to people how to do it, it's not that complicated to be honest. They need to click the "MOD" button in the game menu, click on the "open mod folder" and put the mod they downloaded earlier there, like all client side mods.
Aillun i have big use on my server for that problems not all people know how to download and add the mod in client side, can possibile to fix it ?
The author of scrollcharactercreation seems to have put their mod only on client side, when it needs to be put on client and server side for server auto download. I saw that a message was posted on their mod, and that they were looking into it. For now people need to download their mod manually and put it in their mod folder, or, with author accord, make a patch. I think it just need to modify the modinfo.json
I found that with v1.2.0 (and scrollcharactercreation) installed serverside, other people were unable to join the server and received the "0 mods missing to join server" error message. Reverting back to 1.0.1 resolved it. Looking at their logs, I see that the scrollcharactercreation dependency was missing for them.
Is it expected that all clients would need to manually install the scrollcharactercreation dependency manually? It's not clear to me how a cilentside dependency from this mod would be handled at join time.
Hello StraudBeryl , i'm waking up from my modding hibernation today to see what can i do with compatibility. I'll let you know if i'll make something that'll works :p Was thinking of using https://mods.vintagestory.at/scrollcharactercreation as dependency and so having the index "-" that put my mods at the end of the droplist, ending compatibilities problems
hey, so there is now a mod that lets you be female called female Serephs and was wondering if you could add compatibility to allow the female Serephs to have the antler options?
i wish there were short stubby horns. the only example i can think of is the lamb form cult of the lamb. i think they'd be super super cute
Hello Aillun
Mod author of Expanded Skins here, I was wondering if you could add an optional dependency for my mod in your modinfo category
"dependencies": { "expandedskins": "optional" }
I found out the reason my mod doesn't work whenever Antlers & Horns or Goblin Ears is loaded is because both mods adds a new dropdown between skin/eyes and hair, thus changing the index# I'm trying to call with hair.
I'm not sure how to fix this issue just yet, the only workaround I currently know of is asking you to add me as an optional dependency.
Thanks for hearing me out!
edit- nope nevermind vintage story doesn't support "optional"😿
Hi, is anyone else having an issue where the "Antlers and Horns" option makes the "Voice tone" one unreadable?
I don't have any kofi, i just reused a lot of things there and there i'm not sure it warrants a kofi aha but thanks !
Some new horns are on my list (and the bighorn sheep) but i've been pretty busy. I'm thinking about an unicorn horn, and some color variation on some to give them a more fantastical look without too much work.
Broken horns are a good idea (and an easy one, aha), but i won't do it before adding the horns I want to add !
I love both of your mods so much! If you list a kofi I'd be happy to donate. If its ok to offer a suggestion, more fantastical horns (unicorn, dragon, demon, tiefling) would also be amazin!

Reading this comment , it seems that yes it works with it. Try and tell me :p
does this mod work with the kobold mod?
💚💚💚 Awesome mod, perfect for hunter! Many thanks!
I absolutely adore this mod, it adds so much flavour to the characters !!
Do you have any plans of adding any variants of antlers that have their tips broken off or otherwise damaged overall?
Thank you for the mod! :3
Bighorn sheep is my next horn to do, it's just a little too big to put the game's model directly on the head i need to tweak it a little
thanks for all the nice messages people !
Do you think you'd be able to add in side-mounted (or top curling to the side of head) Ram horns? Like the vanilla critter, the male sheep.
@Deokeu
Pasting my message from goblin ears :
" Ok, for the Classic seraph Faces mod, the conflict is in the patch. I'm not sure how to make an universal solution, but when you open the patch, search for
"path": "/attributes/skinnableParts/7 [...]
where it's written " skinnableParts/7 "
Change all the 7 in the whole file by another value, maybe 8 or 9, until it works. I tried with 2 mods i made (this one and one unreleased) modifying the same part, and writting 9 worked for example.
If you see for example " /attributes/skinnableParts/7/variants/7/shape" "
Change only the first 7 but not the second one. "
When I tried with this mod and my 2 mods, 9 worked 🤔
These horns are so amazing! I'd love to play with it, but this mod seems to crash with "Classic Seraph Faces". You've done a fix for this with your goblin ears mod and I wanted to ask if you could do the same for the antlers mod, if its not too much trouble!
Aillun doing more for the rp community in two mods than any other. huge
Aww nice, been waiting for this since I saw you in the discord. Awesome mod, also yeah ram horns would be nice as people mentioned earlier =)
your mods are amazing, thank you for making them!
Aillun It works with kobolds as per that patch! Thanks!
+1 to the curly ram horns :3
Would you be make curly ram horns that are more to the sides of the head? <3
Reverhaus You can use the following command to give yourself access to the character creation again (requires admin if on a server):
.charsel
Wow! that's incredible!! I want to add it to a server but... how can players choose horns if they created character before the adition of the mod???
And now we just need a tail mod and a wing mod and we're all set! These are asesome mods! Thank you~~~
Vintage story but the seraphs are even cuter
Well maybe try with the new file, as i did a stupid mistake in the patch file !
This is very, very cool!
Now we're just missing tails before we can make tieflings!
Thank you very much for your work.
i'll take a look in the next few days !
Oh I love this so much! If it is not too much of a hassle, using this with the kobold playermodel mod crashes the game, is there any chance for compatibility?
