So, I found the conflicting mod. its https://mods.vintagestory.at/drtagx.
not sure as to why a shader mod is causing this. but it is to be exact it only crashes when you have it in your tool bar. and scroll over it

Sorry, I replied to question you answered. i found a conflict with the mod listed in that first comment. its a shader that has a dependancy with sheyder. but drtagx crashes the game when attempting to equip your ancient armor mod in game.
How do I add trim? I keep trying to change the metal to black bronze and the trim to bizmuth but I get no option to? is there a certain pattern?
It is just the armor piece with the trim schematic and 3 ingots, recipe is shapeless so you can just have them anywhere in the grid
Thank you, I use generic crafting so things can work a bit funny at times and I also am hunting a conflict. crashes every time I have a piece of the set in my inv. I will post it once I locate it
Is this compatable with Forgotten Armory 2.0? The systems for trim plate and cloth customization seem similar
It won't cause issues but it won't work with the crafting system, I asked about adding compat for my mod a little while ago but it required code changes to the FA core mod, but we will see maybe sometime in the future
The handbook is not working for the decorative scrolls, I can't see how to use them to customize the armors
The scrolls are just for putting into scroll racks the schematics are for the decoration, the descriptions tell you what to do 🫡
