This mod alphabetically sorts the ores prospecting dropdown list in the world map view to make it easier to find the ore you're looking for. That's it.

Should work for languages besides English as well, but there might be some languages where it might not be in the "alphabetical" order that you'd expect. If you have such a case, then add a comment with what language you are using. I have preemptively made a change that should make the alphabetical sorting work with pretty much any language.

Releases are also available in the Codeberg repository.

Credit goes to zimt for the idea!

i owe you my very life, even with vanilla only it would be so annoying to try and find a specific ore, let alone with a ton of gems. thank you!

Mongster It's not sorted by anything in the original game code, so it's not alphabetically sorted for Latvian either. This mod should fix that for Latvian and any other language too. As for why the order is the way it is in the vanilla game, it's probably due to them using a HashSet data structure which can give an unpredictable order when it's turned into an ordered list in the code. Haven't bothered to really figure that out, so that's just a guess.

Always wondered if there was a mod for this. I wonder if it's naturally alphabetically sorted in Latvian, but not english.
